Relieving sciatic pain with plantar and auricular Reflexology

From an anatomical point of view, sciatic pain (or sciatica) corresponds to compression of the anterior motor root of the sciatic nerve. The pains are usually typical and most often isolated.
According to professionals of Best Foot Massage Center Pain is the variable depending on the affected nerve root.

  • If the L5 root is affected, the pain will be located behind the thigh, on the outer side of the leg, the top of the foot and the big toe.
  • If the root S1 is affected, the pain will be located behind the thigh, calf, heel, plant and the outer edge of the foot.

The most common cause of "sciatica" may be disc herniation (an abnormal projection of the intervertebral disk) that compresses one of the roots of the sciatic nerve.
In pregnant women, the cause of sciatica is most often a reduction of the intervertebral space related to weight gain and the poor positions of the bust forward.
Other, rarer causes may be the cause of sciatica: osteoarthritis of the lumbar vertebrae; fracture; an infection at the level of an element of the spine; inflammation of the sciatic nerve tumours on the path of the nerve (very rare); scoliosis.
Except for the heavier cases requiring surgery, sciatica is usually benign and atrial reflexology integrated into a plantar reflexology can relieve or reduce analgesic and anti-inflammatory treatments.
Auriculotherapy is the use of the auricular flag for therapeutic purposes. It is explained by the very rich innervation and the multiple connections that it presents with the central nervous system. It is a reflexotherapy. Just like Best Foot Massage Point that uses reflex zones in the foot.
Each point of the body has an auricular and plantar correspondence.
Therapy involves stimulating the pain points of the flag and feet using different methods and techniques (massage stimulation...) and which allow to relax and relieve pain.
The father of Auriculotherapy, Dr. Nogier, highlighted on the part of the ear called Anthelix, a point directly connected to the dorsal-lumbar-dorsal reflex zone whose sciatic nerve is derived. Integrated into a plantar reflexology (work of the reflex zone of the spine), the work of the point in the ear can lead to a muscular relaxation and a real and lasting relief.
